3. General information & legal bases
We only process personal data to the extent necessary. The legal bases are, in particular, Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual steps), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR. No special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) are collected via this website; you contact us using general details (name, email, enquiry).
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR; transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For details, see Netlify’s privacy policy.
5. Server log files
When you visit our pages, technically necessary data is processed (including IP address, date/time, the file accessed, browser/operating system) — legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure, trouble-free operation). This data is only stored for as long as is necessary for this purpose.
6. Cookies & local storage
This website uses no tracking or analytics cookies and does not load external
fonts or CDNs unless necessary (fonts are served locally). For the booking systems, we store
your consent locally in your browser (localStorage, key oms-consent-…)
so that you do not have to confirm the loading gate again on every visit. This storage is
technically necessary to implement your choice (Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications
Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG).
7. Contact form
If you write to us using the contact form, we process the details you provide (name, email, enquiry, message) in order to handle your enquiry — legal basis Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. The form is processed technically via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA); the DPA under Art. 28 GDPR and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply. Your details are only stored for the purpose of handling your enquiry and are deleted afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Embedded booking systems (two-click solution)
Our booking calendars are only loaded after you have actively clicked “Load booking calendar”. Only then is a connection established to the respective provider and data (including your IP address) transferred to them. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — via the “Withdraw consent & hide calendar” link below the respective calendar. The calendar is then hidden again and the consent stored in your browser is deleted.
